Feedback - Retail Domain Training
Given below is the feedback collated from a training session on retail industry domain knowledge
Feedback on classroom session held in Bangalore during July 2020
- Once joining the TECHNOFUNC program, my key expectations were to acquire knowledge on best practices applied in businesses of other participants & to create a network enabling sharing experience gained once applying these solutions on the local level. Looking from the time perspective, I can say, that both of these expectations have been fully met. Not only did we (TECHNOFUNC members) get the opportunity on listening to the managers actually implementing or being owners of the “best in class” solutions but also we had a chance to conduct our own researches and even run pilot tests once applying the best practices in our countries. Working in international teams on x-country projects has also significantly strengthened the networking bonds among us, which, I am sure, will continue in the future.
- When I started the TECHNOFUNC program I didn’t have any specific expectations. I didn’t have experience with any international program before. Focusing TECHNOFUNC to active work in smaller groups and then presentation outputs (during case studies) I evaluate very positively because it brings the opportunity to learning from each other’s, on the other hand, it brings space for everybody and networking during everything we did is great! Very soon I recognized that everybody in TECHNOFUNC is more than willing to sharing information and help each other.
- My biggest expectation was to learn more about the retail industry. What I actually wanted was to get an image of the main aspects of retail, which I certainly did, due to the various training in Risk Management, Finance, Marketing, and Distribution Channels. Last but not least, I was interested in softening up my leadership abilities, which also happened, due to the courses about coaching and leadership awareness.
- My most important expectations towards TECHNOFUNC were: learn a lot in terms of retail industry knowledge, meet opened and friendly people from different countries, improved language skills, and experience fantastic adventure. I can honestly say that my expectations have been met by 100%. I spend over one year on learning during TECHNOFUNC training together with friendly, helpful, and open-minded group of people. Thanks to various training methods I improved significantly my retail understanding, leadership, presentation, and language skills. Due to many other activities, the time spend on TECHNOFUNC training weeks was not only study but adventure as well.
